Hello!

I have Vista Home Premium 32bit. After clean install i go to windows disk
cleanup. There is a box "Per user archived error reporting" in size 46GB,
but the space on hdd isn´t used that much. Anyvay, i select that box and
press delete and after one minute total system crash. After reset i can´t
boot because system files is missing.

Any suggestion? Thanx.

Hi Quad_Damage,

46GB of files to delete in total is extremely excessive, let alone in one
category, especially after a clean install. Since you cannot boot your system
because of missing system file(s) the sensible option would be to reinstall
Vista. If you are using upgrade media then follow the instructions in the
post 'Activation error Home Premium UG over WinXP Prof', also in this
newsgroup. When it comes to formatting your disc, be sure to select the full
option and not the quick option.

Quad_Damage sorry to hear that your system crashed but, your story answered
my question about whether or not to delete win. error files in disk clean up.
Hope you get it up and running again.
