Geez. Microsoft comes out everyday with a new answer is it worth fighting
about?

This is a wrapup:
Tueday they said Big business gets it in NOV, RETAIL in JAN. By thursday
they said no, early 2007 for retail because they are shaking up their
departments to get things moving, and when they mean moving they mean
backwards (lets stop so we can add some crap to the OS so our patrons dont go
to free online services). Their stock drops 3%. But they will recover....
They are concerned about niggling security issues. That is their foremost
excuse.
They say things like Yahoo and Google are threatening their product line (as
VISTA and LIVE! are huge on online services) Overall MS gave a bunch of bull
issues for the recent stall but its about the survival of their company in a
drastically changing market.

Although I would rather have the OS without such services as LIVE and would
be happy to use it when its ready, Im all for MS taking their time to get it
right. Im not going to pay $200 (canadian) for an operating system that is
"just" above the OK quality line. If youre gonna do it, do it right.
