Vista call home feature

yes that is confirmed you cant activate windows without date right but that
can be emulated .... go reversers go
 
set BIOS clock to year 2099
install vista, any edition without a key , wait until setup is
finnished,drivers installed etc.
Reboot Pc.
Set BIOS clock back again to real date 2006/2007
Wait until 30 days are over and wonder on why nothing happens.
(No, it wont go into "crap" mode, even not after 200,300,1000 days)
The "installed-date" timer in the registry is not capable of managing this
weird switch.
