Hi, I have a machine running Vista and my mail program is Microsoft
Mail.. I have attempted to send a MS Word doc as an attachmentto a
machine running XP and using outlook express 6.... Once I try to read
the attachment I get a message saying:

Run time error! Program c:\Proram File microsoft/office/
office10\wwinwordext abnormal program termination

I went to the MS website and downloaded all the updates including one
that has the conversion updates for 2007--- I have loaded that on the
XP machine and still I get the same error message. In fact, I am able
to open the MS doc but a box comes up with that error... Any help
would be great.
Thanks
KOS

Ok, you either want to ask in microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general or
one of the Word newsgroups. OE/Windows Mail isn't related to Outlook.

Possibly microsoft.public.windows.vista.mail as well.
