What is it with Vistas Internet Explorer and spam? I run adaware on an XP
machine with IE7 and it hardly finds anything. But run it on Vista and it
find 60 or 70 critical objects. What did Microsoft do to Vista IE? Is there
something I need to set i IE to prevent so much junk from being downloaded?

I think you need to elebroate a bit more. Ad-Aware finds spyware, not spam.
You will probably find Ad-Aware is finding false positives on Vista.

I elaborated enough. Let me put is simple.

adaware in xp enviroment: 5 or 6 spyware cookies.

adaware in vista enviroment: 70+ spyware cookies.

Cookie themselves are not spyware. Many websites use cookies as you
navigate thru to know what pages you've already looked at on their site, or
used to keep track of entries you have made in input boxes, shopping carts,
etc.

Some sites will not even work w/o cookies.

And you're using IE7 with exactly the same settings on each machine and
visited exactly the same web sites at exactly the same time with each?
Bioth machines have exactly the same version of AdAware and the same
definition files? If not, your "comparison" has no value.

None of which has anything to do with spam, the purported subject of
your post. Spam is unsolicited commercial email.
