|new themes based on msstyles you could make it look very cool too.

|XP was not new exactly it was based on win2k...
|but win2k was not a consumer OS.

|Over all XP was a huge improvment over win98

|and vista is an obscure and strange degrade to XP.. ugly in all
|aspects.

|as for under the hood. dont make me laugh.. vista is slower by 20-50
|% than XP depending on your hardware...

|the memory managment and other idiotic tricks like readyboost have no
|meaning since the performance of the OS is clearly worse than XP.

|Its NOT about getting used to something.. I test various OS for fun..
|I like the challange of learning new things all the time.. I learn
|new programs and get used to new updates on a multitude of
|programs... I keep myself well informed.. and I am always at the
|razor edge of advancements.

|and thats why I hate vista.. its a bad creation its a leap

I'm not going to have the discussion again for the Nth time. But you
can't just say things like "%30-50 slower" without quantifying it. It's
a fact that Vista has better disk access and memory management than XP.
If it seems to be slower it may be things running on top causing that
like the Aero look. That has nothing to do with the core OS at all and
can be removed. One could have a discussion about what should be
included in an OS, but that's another story. I just remove stuff if I
do not like it and are left with a better core OS than XP ever was. And
then there are people who like fluff on top of their OS and are willing
to take a speed hit for it, or purchase more hw power to run it all.
They should really love Vista!
I've seen people argue against Vista using facts and knowledge. You are
not one of them.
Finally, I think Vista is the best looking Windows product ever.
Period!
