Hi everyone

I am a new member and am experiencing a problem with this wonderful Vista (surprise!!!). I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 joystick that I like to use with FS4. I now try to install the Sidewinder software on my new computer with Vista) as a running system software and it will not get past the stage one of the installation or let me calibrate the joystick at all. Any of you out there experienced anything like this before please?

Did you run the Vista compatibility check before you installed it?

The Microsoft Joystick is, I believe, quite an old model. It may not be compatible, sad to say :(

I'm using a Logitech Force Feedback Wingman Joystick, about 3 years old, with Vista and MS FS X and it works fine.

Ask Microsoft for a refund ... it's not compatible with Windows Vista.
