Vista and FP

Just started using Vista. Finding some interesting Quirks with it.

I am also using FP 2000. I have been made aware of the weird things with
Outlook 2002 and Vista.

Here is what is going on with FP 2000 and Vista.

I have several Web sites that I maintain.

The 2 that are a normal www.xxxxxxx.com (xxxxxxx = site name) I can log into
with no problem.

I have 2 that are www.xxxxxxx.com/YYYYYYYY (xxxxxxx = site name, yyyyyyy is
my sub site in that site name). These 2 are the ones I'm having problems
loggin into.

I put in the correct User name and PW and it gives me this error:

"You are not authorized to perform the current operation."

This actually does not come up on the screen, a file name int txt format
does. I went in and found the file name.

The weird part of this is that one of the sites that I can get into is
hosted by the same people that host 2 of the ones I can't get into. My user
name and PW for all 3 of those sites is the same.

The only difference is that one of the sites we have a separate name
www.twinsburgfire.com and the other is
www.twinsburg.com/congregationalchurch.

What do I need to do to be able to access the sub website like I have before
changing to Vista???

What am I missing or what does the hosting company have to do??

Thanks

Bob

How do I do that? I have never had to do that in the past.

I do not own the Root web. I only own the sub web.

Contact the host/owner of the root web and have them give you permissions to the subweb
- some hosts do not allow subwebs to be opened directly
