VISTA> A crime to humanity: Proposal

J

john

It is well known (at last) how bad vista is.
Is creating huge problems with all users world wide,
and there can be no service pack to fix the problems,
because the problems are due to decisions in design.

Because of the monopoly nature of Microsoft and the negative impact Vista
will have on the progress of humanity as a whole I propose to declare vista
as a CRIME TO HUMANITY.
Microsoft has left little space for other systems to develop that can
substitute windows,
and that is why we should hold it responsible for what happens globally.
And just like with HITLER all his generals were put to trial,
I propose that all the KEY DECISION MAKERS & DEVELOPERS of MS should be put
to trial.

Why?

Simple, we have to get the message across that they cannot play
with the advancement of civilization like they are doing, with their low
quality products.
Also if they are not ready to dedicate their entire lives to make windows
better,
they should fear the consequences, and not join Microsoft.

Of course MS could stand down from its monopoly and open all its source to
the open source
community, and work with them to make better systems for all humanity.
In that case all charges will be droped.

Thank you

Well im not sure about that. Any teething problems Vista has are down to
users just getting used to an interface. It is in no way affecting anyones
performance except the fact drivers arent up to date yet (solved with time).

I suspect you havent even got Vista and are in no way qualified to comment
on something you obviously know nothing about. Instead of reading others
opinions and simply copying them around, try looking into them and forming
your own opinion based on your own experience with Windows Vista (and as
thats none, shut up and log off) ;-)

I am sorry you feel that way. All you are mainly seeing is people with problems here. What about those that are not having issues with Vista and enjoying it? I have stated that the beta versions have had a lot of problems, but the RTM version works well with my system. I am much happier with Vista then XP. I have also tested Vista out on some of my friends and family. So far, I am getting very positive responce from them.

I say that if you feel so strongly, then switch to a MAC or go back to XP.

1) Your demands from the OS are very small
2) You are running vista in a "controlled enviornment"

You are the minority.

Here's a proposal: Use XP. Profound, huh? No one is making you use Vista
you moroon.

Can't deny that there are many compatibility problems with Vista and
so-called legacy soft/hardware. I did the upgrade and wish I hadn't but am
determined to see it through. With virtually all new computers shipping with
Vista I think you'll see more and more unhappy folks... Those that get a new
computer and expect to be able to use their existing software and hardware.
And I say virtually because Dell is still shipping XP on their high-end
computers.

There are thousands here with problems with their copy of Vista.
There are hundreds of thousands if not millions already using Vista.
If the number of people with issues is significant, you should have a case.
Go ask a lawyer about a class action lawsuit.

I am sorry you feel that way. All you are mainly seeing is people with problems here.

What do you EXPECT to see is a support newsgroup?

If you want to be a Microsoft groupie, go setup a web page or a fan
club.

What you and others that blindly support Microsoft are too dense to
understand is a lot of people are having far too much difficulity
installing Vista compared to previous versions of Windows or getting
their hardware and software to run under it. Some Bozo screaming it
works fine for me or go buy a Mac doesn't help anybody, in fact such
simpletons can be down right annoying and often are insulting
pretending people having problems don't know anything.

You'll note I haven't asked for help. I have simply explained some of
the issues I've run into and will time permitting explain how I fixed
them so hopefully others with similar problems may benefit. That is
what this kind of newsgroup is SUPPOSE TO BE FOR because Microsoft is
too damn cheap and lazy to provide any serious free support to their
customers. Sadly these kind of newsgroups often end up being a place
for Microsoft apologists to get their egos massaged. Microsoft makes
that easy by rewarding the biggest appologists MVP status. This is of
mutual benefit to both parties. MVP's get to toot their own horn and
that makes them feel good while Microsoft avoids having to provide any
actual support. Don't mean to use too wide a brush. Not all MVP's are
smartass types, just too many. You know who you are, the irony is so
does everybody else. <wink>

It is well known (at last) how bad vista is.

I've been running Vista since Beta 2 was released last May. I bought
the retail version a few weeks ago.

It's better than the pre-release stuff.

It has it's problems but it's quite good, actually.

"A crime to humanity"?

Give me a break.

Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?

How do you it creates problems with ALL USERS WORLD WIDE?

I don't remember you asking me about it? My cousin in New York doesn't
remember you asking him either. So there at least two users "WORLD WIDE"
that disagree with you. I'll bet there are probably a few others around
also that you didn't ask.

I don't consider Vista a Huge Problem.

You could of at least TRIED TO BE ORIGINAL!!! After a quick Google search

Once again, Adam fails to figure out the POINT. Go back, read it again and
try again to understand what is being said.

The OP has already mentioned his post was a JOKE. If you can't play along
then shove off!

then shove off!

Good Idea.

The LOVE BOAT to LINUX Island is leaving.
Its peaceful .. relaxing ...
not a soul around for miles ...
your next door user is mountains away.

All aboard.

PS its free too, just bring your own water, food, clothes and shelter
building skills.

Your right tho, he is a minority... The majority on this newsgroup are trolls. Go and have fun with a mac or linux and get lost!
