Visio keeps trying to randomly install itself - How do I stop this???

S

Visio already exists on my computer and the executble is located in
C:\program files\microsoft office\visio10

It runs fine if I click on the executable - though it is a "trial
version" and has less than 10 launches left on it.

My issue is that my PC seems to randomly want to install Visio and
will launch the Windows Installer - searching for Visio media to do a
full install.

HOW CAN I FIND OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THIS AND POSSIBLY STOP (ERASE?) THE
PROBLEM?

I am running Windows 2000 Professional.

I do NOT have the Visio installation media and do not want to go buy
it.

Thanks for any advice!

.

The trial version is doing that nonsense to you.
Uninstall it.
