I recieved message that i have the virus W32.Swen.A@mm. I
ran my norton anti virus program and it says i have 1
file that has a virus. It failed to fix the virus, but is
quarantined. So now i tried to use the Removal Tool from
Symantec Security. It told me to uncheck "Hide file
extensions for known file types". It is not there for me
to uncheck. Please tell me a way i can remove this virus
from my computer thank you.

Where did you look? The option to "hide file extensions..." can be
accessed via Windows Explorer. Click TOOLS menu|FOLDER OPTIONS|VIEW tab.
UNcheck the box.

"Quarantined" means that NAV has isolated a virus-infected file so that it
cannot be executed. In other words, quarantining does essentially mean that
a virus has been removed from your computer.
