virus

i have a virus in my computer. the name is w32.hllw.moega.
it is located in cwindows/sytem32/mplupdate.exe. the virus
will not allow me to repaire, quarantine or delete it. i
have continually updated my virus definitions & i have
tried deleting by means of disabling my windows system
restore. i have sent numerous e mails to norton but they
are offering me no help. can anyone help me get rid of
this virus,,,,its driving me crazy.

Boot from your CD, then run your anti-virus. You need to
not be using the system32 files. You can delete the file
while you are booted from the CD. If you are using FAT32
you can boot from a W98 boot disk.
