help regarding w32 virus

Hi all

when i ran my norton antivirus today
i found that i had w32 virus
what does it do?
i cant see any effects of this virus.
i quarantined it cuz the antivirus said that it cannot be deleted.

now it still shows that it is infected with w32 virus.
how can i get rid of it permenantly?

when i go to reports -> Quarantied Items.. it doesnt open up...so i can't
delete the quaranted files.

You need to find the correct name of the virus, from your av program. Then
goto symantec's website and look it up, It will tell you how to get rid of
it. W32 is only part of the name.

This is not the complete name of the virus. Go to the Reports section in
Norton AV and read what the name is. Then look up the name on
Symantec's website for removal instructions (www.sarc.com).
