Virus list in AVG 6

Jeff

There have been a lot of new virus variants running around lately. I use
the free AVG 6 and keep it regularly updated, but have not found an easy way
to find out if it covers all the recent virus variants.

Does any one know where one can find the list of viruses it protects against
and also if there is a safe and free website to check if my system is clean
over the internet?

Thanks.

I don't know about AVG6 and it's definitions but these
sites offer free online scans:

Symantec, McAfee, TrendMicro and PandaSoftware are four companies that offer
online scanning.
