Virus hiding amongst inaccessible files

My virus scanner has detected lovsan.f (related to blaster worm) in C:\System Volume Information\_restore\etc etc\A0002662.exe. However, I can't get at this file to fix or delete it, even via admin login in safe mode. Suggestions?

The system volume folders are protected and cannot be
accessed by normal means (they are the system restore
files) To delete this virus (if the volume is the only
places it's at) just shut off system restore, reboot and
turn it back on,the blaster and all of the files will be
deleted as well as your restore points.Be sure to create
a new checkpoint once S/R is back up.
