sddrop worm virus

Ive been infected by a worm virus. Its called
worm/sddrop. It has infected the system restore part of
my computer. A warning keeps coming up every so often
that says: I get a message from AVG saying virus
detected - worm, sddrop gives location as C:\system
volume information\_restore{E86A136A-2DB2-4500-A053-
2B90558E4F9E}\RP29\A0012557.EXE and tells me to run AVG
for Windows to remove it. Ive run AVG. It wont clean it
cause it doesnt scan the system restore area. Is there
any way to safely remove this worm virus?

You'll need to turn-off System Restore, reboot, then turn it back on.
