Windows XP virus help

hello i need help removing this virus.

My pc has the virus mytob .ca

I am on windows xp home.

The past days my pc has been just rebooting for no reason at all.

Can this worm virus do this.

Any help removing it.

the mytob family are generally mass mailing worms, if you can boot it into safe mode then you should be able to remove it with a virus scan

It would NOT want to reboot your system, you probably got more crap as well.

Symantec have a removal tool specifically for variants of the mytob virus.
