virus disable IE7 tools/options

Guest

Hello,

I got two viruses which were found in the temp internet files folder. I
deleted them but now the option "tools/options" doesn't work. ( it just
flashes up for a second then disappears)

Is there a way to fix this aside from a re-install ?

thankyou for all helpful advice.

Hi Mani,
It is regedit.exe you can copy and paste in the Run command and see or make
the necessary changes in those keys mentioned before.
If you cannot then Backup your data and be ready to wipe the HDD and perform
a clean install.
Please install the Anti-virus with firewall and Anti-malware first before
connecting to the internet, also get updates from MS then try to scan the
Data from the removal storage and copy to where you want it to be.
HTH.
