Virus can't be deleted

Dick

Following a recent 'format C:' and reinstallation of XP and reloading a
number of programs I received a 'virus alert' from my AVG AV program. I ran
a scan immediately and it found three and quickly removed two of them. Its
report stated that one could not be removed. I ran scans from Panda and
Trend Micro (from the web) and they both found the same thing and also said
that it couldn't be removed.by them. I checked the Symantec site and
couldn't find help there but am still searching.
I would appreciate some expert advice and instructions on how to remove this
thing. I cannot find such a file or folder on my "H" partition. The
folder/file is shown as follows:

H:\RECYCLER\S-1-5-21-57989841-220523388-1801674531-1004\DH6.ZIP:\start.exe
Trojan horse Downloader.Small.7.AG

TIA, Dick

The virus is cabbed in your System Restore files--turn off SR, reboot the PC
and scan again to make sure the file was deleted--if clean turn SR back on.
If the file was not automatically deleted, boot to safe mode and delete the
files in the hidden System Volume Information folder.

I was premature I guess. I am running GoBack instead of System Restore. I
disabled GoGack, which clears all of its history when disabled. I rebooted
and did a check of the H drive again and the virus is still present. What
might I do next? Also, I hit the send button early when starting this post
and I'm afraid I sent an empty message. Sorry. Dick

Sorry--
I needed more coffee before posting--the location was not SR but the recycle
bin.

Boot to safe mode and empty the recycle bin.

Obviously, the nasty wasn't on C:. Delete the contents of the recycler
folders on all your other hard drives. Or, deltree the entire folder.
Dont worry, it will be re-created on the next boot.
