Virual Device drivers (xxxx.386) not working in XP home

I recently installed XP Home and have virual device drivers that work on both
95 and 98SE. These were placed in the [386enh] section of system.ini as
device=xxx.386 and the approriate files placed in the Windows directory.
They appear to not function with XP (no DOS screen type messages during boot
that indicate loading). Any suggestions?

No, *.386 virtual device drivers are no good in XP. You need upgraded
versions of the apps.

I was afraid of that. Unfortunately, the company no longer exists to get
updated versions.

THANKS!
