Virtual Machine

I was desiring to set up a virtual machine, I installed MS Virtual PC.
However, it pops up and says that my os (Vista Home Premium) is not
supported. Moreover, I can install a virtual machine and change the
settings. Just wondering if it is ok to still use the virtual machine even
though it states that my os is not supported. This PC has Vista Home Premium
and I want to run an XP virtual machine. This is more for screwing around
with the MS Virtual PC concept than any other reason. Any ideas?

Ah I answered my own question, Vista Home Premium is not listed in the list
of guest OS's that are compatible with Virtual PC 2007. Oh well thats cool.
Was hoping it would so I could possibly suggest a method for some of the
people with legacy software a method to run such software.

It's not supported but it works fine nonetheless. I have a Home Premium
laptop with VPC 2007 on it. I setup an XP Pro VM in order to use a VPN
client that is still not Vista-ready yet. Works fine for that purpose
(RDP'ing into terminal servers).
