Virtual Device Driver Format

When I load a disc or download a program I get the
message"Current Control Set/Control/VirtualDeviceDrivers
Virtual Device Driver format in the registry is invalid.
Then I can select Close or Ignore.

HELP!!!!!
Where and how do I correct this annoying problem?

MUST have Admin privileges and you MUST use Regedt32.exe

Or, courtesy of Andrei "Ndi" Dobrin, you can download and try this:
http://www.ndi.ro/VDDFix.exe I haven't used this personally, but it has
been recommended to me. Use at your own risk.
