Viewing themes with live preview, multiple slides

Office 2007 / PPT 2007 / Win XP Pro
I want to preview a title slide and one or more content slides in my
presentation to see what different themes will look like. Since themes treat
title slides differently than other slides in a presentation, if you only
preview the theme on a title slide, or on another context slide, you don't
really get the picture of what your presentation will look like.
It's a pain to have to first look at the title slide with live preview and
then switch to a content slide and do live preview again. I want to see them
both together so I can assess the theme more completely.
I can't figure out a way to do this except by actually applying themes to
the presentation (which then wipes out the custom formatting I've done on my
presentation layouts).
Any suggestions? Thanks.

View tab > New Window

You should be able to look at different slides and apply themes to both at
once.

Is that what you mean?

Hi John,

Thanks for the quick reply. Actually, my problem isn't with Applying the
themes--that works just fine for me. What I'm trying to do is use the Live
Preview feature by hovering the cursor over the themes gallery without
applying the themes. That seems to work fine for one slide at a time, but
what I'm trying to do is Live Preview multiple slides at one time.

Any suggestions?
