Viewing previoius versions from 2007

Since I purchased MS Office 2007 I am having trouble viewing PowerPoint
slides that others send to me, which they have created in older versions of
PowerPoint. Much of their slides are missing when I open them. I often will
get only the background color and a couple of the objects, with most of the
text and many of the objects missing. What can I do?

Hello,

Are you able to send an example for me to have a look at? Them that way I'll
be able to find out if I can reproduce it.

You may try to ask your friends to convert PowerPoint to Flash, becoz Flash
is widely compatible with most systems.

What if he needs to edit the presentation?
Rather a foolish suggestion, don't you think?

Oh, I just provide a quick way to solve "viewing" problem.
If you need to edit the old presentations, you my try to install PP 2003 and
PP 2007 both. That's my own solution to my presentations. It's miserable
compatibility issues caused by M$, isn't it?
