Viewing icons from Explorer

Hi All,

I used to see icons as thumbnails from explorer but now I only see a
windows icon.

Can anyone tell me how I can get this back to the original setting.

Are you talking about the Windows Explorer, or the Internet Explorer? If
the Windows Explorer, try opening a folder, then on the toolbar there is a
small box looking icon with a down arrow next to it. Click on the down arrow
then click on Thumbnails in the list. Then, when the thumbnails are
displayed, click on Tools on the toolbar, then Folder Options | View |
click the Like Current Folder then OK and close out. That should set all
the folder icons to the thumbnails.

Hi Jan,

thanks for that but the problem still exists. That is that I can not view
any .ico files from Windows Explorer.

Have you any other suggestions ?
