viewing format layout on templates

somehow I've lost the ability to view the layout of the normal templates that
come with Word 2000 ... such as labels, rolodex card ...all the standard
templates that come with the program. The template layout is there - I can
tell when I type or hit tab it falls in a certain area - but I can't tell the
dimensions of the label etc - while typing - without viewing the template
layout

thank you - worked great and I've only been on one site you recommended but
the templates info is terrific
