Viewing email photo's

Hello,
I recently had some pic's sent to me via email, but find that to view them I
have to scroll up/down and along. I am running Windows XP Home. The pic's are
in JPG and sizes are 618KB 637 KB 642 KB.
If I click on each attachment individually the following message appears
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel<. Whe I
open the Folder Options in Control Panel this is where I get lost and don't
know what to do. Please help.
Thank you.

To insure that you can view the complete image
in your e-mail preview window...ask the sender
to reduce the size of the images to 640x480.

Also...try this...open an image folder (My Pictures...
for example) and right click one of your .jpg image
files...from the menu, select...Open With / Choose
Program.

Make your choice from the list or Browse to the
correct program if it is not in the list. If you want
the Windows XP default...choose "Windows
Picture and Fax Viewer".

Once you make your selection...be sure to check
the box that says: "Always use the selected program
to open this kind of file". (you will need to do this
for each format....jpg, .tif, .gif...etc.)

Also...you can right click an image and from the
menu...choose...Properties / Change Button...
choose the program you wish to use and click...
OK / Apply / OK.

Click on the tab File type, after you click on Folder Options.
A window will open and lists file types.
Scroll down the file to JPG
See what is listed in the box to display this file type.
The default is Windows Pictures and FAX viewer.
If you have something else, click on the Change button and a list will open,
select Windows....
If the default was already set as above, right click on the image in the
e-mail and click on Save on the opening menu. After you save the file on
your hard drive you should now be able to open it by double click on the
file name and it should open with Windows Picture and Fax viewer.
