Viedo Game Disorder

When I try to play "Arcade Hits" the screen is normal for a few seconds and
then the colors turn inverted and diffrent colors. Is there something wrong
with my computer or settings? or is it because the game is old from 1999?

That did not work. Is there any thing else that I could update or do to fix
it?

Probably not. Games written to Dos and Win9x often did video tricks that
just won't work in XP
