In. You will have to buy one of these then hook up the VCR and
follow the isntructions that came with it as to how to get the VCR to
go through. You should be able to record with the software that comes
with it. Then you will need to buy an MPEG Encoder (I suggest
TMPGEnc). Encode to MPEG II and then burn to DVD.

There are several things wrong with this: -
1) You don't know what 'Me' stants for. Suggest you learn - if you're ever
made an MVP it will totally discredit the program.
2) Windows Media Centre is a superset of XP Pro. If he had a system with
MCE on it (which he doesn't - as you'd know if you knew what 'Me' stood for)
he'd have a TV card and, therefore, he wouldn't be asking the question.
3) Why are you sending him to a group which is also nothing to do with
his issue? Not that you've even got the group topic right!
