I need to buy 2 items. No TV involved. A Video Card. The Video card does
not need to capture the Video to burn it to digital format to the hard
drive.

Key words: play a vcr tape

1. Video Capture card or any VIdeo card, which will allow the connection
from a VCR to play a Video tape on the PC's monitor.

2. VCR with video cables to connect to a Video Card or Video Capture card
to play a Video tape on the PC's monitor.

No TV involved. Key words: play a vcr tape

Thank you from New Orleans

If you want to combine the two devices, look for a graphics card with VIVO
capability (Video in and Video out).... Otherwise I'd suggest the Hauppauge
PVR150 for the capture card and you don't give us enough info for the
graphics card..... what is your budget? PCI-E or AGP... etc etc etc

I need a new graphics card also to go along with a new VCR and a new capture
card or as you said a combo.

I have PCI and AGP but not PCIexpress.

My budget is unlimited as I drive part time on weekends for Loomis Armored
Car. You would not believe the cash we pick up.

If your budget is unlimited, buy a new computer. It will have PCI-e.
