Video settings revert back

I have a creative labs video card 'CT5823'tnt 32 megs.
All is find with nvidia software on win 98. Upgrading to
win 2000 after loading win 2000 drivers from nvida web
site, settings are lost after rebooting pc. Drivers run
fine while logged in, but after reboot all settings
return back to default. Currently I have no antivirus
software installed. Any ideas?

Have you tried/used the Creative Drivers as apposed to nvidea refference
drivers?

Don't think I have used creative's drivers. Do I search
for card model number then a list of drivers for it? The
card is a creative copyright board. CT5823, Help.
