I have nvidia GeForce MX/MX400 video card with tv out.
How do I get the video from my pc to my tv. I have
installed a s-video cable from my video card to the s-
video input of my tv. Do I need to change settings or
software to get the video my tv. The reason I am doing
this is to use my dvd with my pc. My tv has ant options
but I am unable to find how to set my tv's video option
to s-video. If you can help me with this please e-mail me
back.

You need to make sure you have the drivers installed from www.nvidia.com and
not the ones Microsoft provides. then you goto your Display
Proporites>>Settings Tab>>Click Advanced. there is a setting somewhere in
there to enable the TV as a display.

Also, sound does not travel down the S-video cable. You need to make
arrangements to get the sound from the computer to the TV also. Normally a
stereo mini-phono plug on the computer end and RCA plugs on the TV end.

Just trying to head off problems when he follows your instructions (which
are OK) and then posts back that he can't get the sound to work. Many
people think that S-Video has sound included in the signal.
