Video insert no worky...why?

I've been trying to insert a video onto a page of our website using an .mpg
version and a .wmv version of the video...both versions play fine on my
system, zero problems. When I select insert->picture->video it inserts a
little tiny box with one of those icons showing either the link is broken or
doesn't know what it is. Does this with both mpg and wmv formats.

I would just youtube it as I know that embedded link will work but the point
of the videos we're posting is largely for SEO to add good content to our
site...if we just have an embeded youtube link on the site it does us zero
good for SEO.

Any ideas?
