video does not play

hoping someone can help. i reset windows xp to default
settings trying to make internet explorer 6 as the
default browser. afterwhich i am no longer able to play
video files. the audio works but the video is just a
black screen.

I also have this problem. I have reinstalled MM2 which doesn't help. I can see the picture in the player, but when playing the movie, there is no video. What's really interesting is this only happens under some profiles. The main profile works just fine. They are all set to Administrator.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
