Video device with Microsoft WDM Image Capture

Hello,
a videocard (PCI, Pinnacle PCTV Stereo) is used to display the live image of
a video source (camera) via the Microsoft WDM Image Capturing (which connects
to the driver of the interface card). I can either use the composite or
S-Video signal and will have to set it for the driver to know where to get
the data from, but here we have one problem:
Whenever the application had been closed and then restarted, the signal of
the video source would automatically be set to S-Video, no matter if it had
been changed to composite or not by the software. This is a disturbing fact
if you (as an unexperienced user) are using the composite port and always
have to change the setting before you can start.
Now my question:
Where can I find the very system setting (must be for the WDM Image Capture
in the registry, I guess) to fix the video signal?
Thanks and appreciation for any help,
Michael, from Germany
