Freeware for Video Capture card

Hi all,

Bought a 2nd hand PC a while ago and it has a Pinnacle WDM PCTV Video
Capture card in it. Anybody able to recommend suitable software to run
on this.

You can try DScaler from
http://deinterlace.sourceforge.net/downloads.htm

Try the Pinnacle site. I think you can download drivers and such there.

Failing that there are freeware versions of Chris TV, Dscaler and K!TV which
should allow you to use it/

D/L'd and installed it; got the video OK but no sound so far. Will work
on it and see if I can track down the problem.

sure I'll find some useful stuff there in my video learning curve.

Seems to be a 15 day trial, then pay £30. Hardly freeware.
