Video Cards

I'm buying a new Video card, I was wondering if someone could
help me on it.
I can't make up my mind on weather to buy the ATI 9700 pro or the Gforce.
I heard that the ATI has some problems with Drivers, also I heard it wasn't true. I also heard the Gforce is so loud you need ear plugs. I don't know what to believe.

I prefer nVidia ... gForce4 Ti4200.

There will be someone along shortly who will say ATI.
