video bitrate changes ?

Hi to all:
I have win xp pro ,hardware is a geforcre2 mx400 and an
amd athlon xp cpu, my problem is that my device driver
changes bit rate settings whenever the system shuts down
or reboots from 32 to 8 on the display. Can anyone advise
me about this ? THANKS A LOT
 
That's not Video Bitrate. It's your screen resolution. It's measured in
DPI. Please reinstall the latest video card drivers from nvidia's website.
