I have a XP Home edition with Pentium 2.40GZ with 5 12 Ram. I have lots of
room on my Hard rive. I have burned CD in past up to 30 minutes withpout
problems. I have a 43 minute video with sound ,video transitiens etc. Whe I
preview the finished product along the way video skips, sometimes it slowds
down. Other time it freezes. The sound continues when video preview freezes
-up. The audion also at times skips, sounds static. Other times it just
freezes up. I have tried to to change the drive to NTFS,Ihave tried going to
control panel>System> advanced tab>prformance>settings> and changed the
processor scheduling from programs to background and memory usage to programs
cache.,I have tried to do a system restore. Nothing seems to work Can any
wise souls suggest something?

I would suggest that, if possible, you should increase the amount of RAM your
computer has.
