VGNC290 drivers for XP

I 'm trying to get the windows XP divers for VAIO VGN-C290. Don't have
anything in SONY support web page....They sayed that is not
compatible..Anyone could help me????

It could very well be the case. If there are no XP drivers for any of
the VAIO products in SONY's website, then SONY does not support it. But
if the driver is for hardware that is not proprietary to SONY, then it
might be possible to find and download a generic version of it.

If Sony have no winxp drivers there are none, you'll just have to persevere
with Vista

The problem is that in my work, some programs only works with XP...

Attempting to install none supported drivers could leave you with a none
functioning laptop, and not least your Sony warranty / support will be
invalidated
You should allways check that the hardware you are buying is compatible with
what you wish to run or connect to it.
I guess you could allways try Sony forums to see if anyone else has been
successful with winxp on your model, and as such where they sourced drivers
from

Then you will have to get a computer that does support your programs.
Plenty of them out there.
