Very strange printer issues

I have a single user on our network who is having some very strange
printer issues. Here is the background info:

We are a small company with a single server. It crashed last week and
I could not restore the AD from backup so had to re-create the
domain.
All 35 users are back up and running 99%.
Everyone can print fine to all of our printers from all applications.
(except this one user)

One user however, I added the network printers to his computer and
they all show up in the Printers & Faxes and they all show up in his
printer list in Microsoft Office. He is able to print to all of the
printers in Micrsoft Office. However, when he tries to print from
Adobe Acrobat or any other non-Microsoft application, our HP 8000n and
8150dn do not show up in the printer list. The other printers (Sharp,
TDS400) do, but the HP's do not.

When I try to delete the printer it give me the error "Printer
connection cannot be removed. Operation could not be completed." I
have tried every solution I have found online. Even when I log in as
Administrator I cannot delete the printers, same error message. There
are no jobs stuck in the queue. I have tried stopping the spooler and
deleting them, still no luck. The printers are working completely fine
for everyone else. Originally I was thinking it could be a corrupt
user profile but since it is also happening under the Administrator
login I don't believe that is the problem.

I am totally baffled. If anyone has any input I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

Have you tried to delete the printer safe mode? Or download the drivers from
HP and installed them?
