Very small window opens which cannot be re-sized

Hi

My father (on another pc, also with Windows XP Professional) was exploring a
website and after opening a link, a very small window opened which cannot be
re-sized, even if he clicked the "restore down" button in the top right
corner. He regularly visits this website and this never happened before.
When he opens this link on another pc, it opens as normal (correct size),
therefore it cannot be the website.

Is it possible to copy and paste a screenshot as I'm having trouble doing
that?

Thanks

Place the cursor at one of the edges and try dragging the window to a
larger size.

Binaries shouldn't be posted in these Microsoft newsgroups -- that's not
to say it doesn't happen sometimes. If you can find a website to upload
your screenshot you can put a reference to the location in a message easily.

You cannot re-size the window, that is, you cannot drag the window to a
larger size. It's actually that the link is a small window within the large
normal window that opens. Wish I could show you ...

Of course you can show it with a screenshot posted to one of several
free picture hosting web sites. You will need to create a free
account.

You need to see your screen, press the Print Scrn key which copies the
screen to your Windows clipboard,

Click Start, Programs, Accessories, Paint to open MS Paint.

Paste your screen shot into Paint and name/save the file where you can
find it. A .BMP file is fine.

Double click the new file to open it to be sure it is okay.

Upload the file to one of the free sites, post the URL to the picture
back here.
