very slow pc and unable to open email account

my pc is running very slow(snails pace) and i cant open my email acount.have
run a virus scan and nothing found.cant run a spyware scan as for some reason
its saying that its been running by someone else and i cant even uninstall to
re-install gain.

help please

Most likely your computer has a malware infection.

What processes are occupying the majority of the CPU resources? (Check
with Task Manager.)

Have you run disk cleanup? Defrag? What have you done so far? Close down
virus scanning programs?

issues via safe mode.

reboot and hold down
the f8 key to load the
boot menu.

then select safe mode
w/networking.

if your system performs
better in safe mode, then
it means the configuration
for normal mode requires
fine tuning or tweaking.

I had a very similar problem and got a lot of good advice but the one that
helped the most was to open the computer and clean out the accumulated dust.
There was a lot of it.
