Hi, the problem I have is that computers take a lot of
time to login, they stock when do the "loading personal
settings", and in some of them takes for ever!

Please help....
Thanks

Verify that the users are actually getting logged on to the domain and not
their local machines using cached creds by running "set l" (letter L) and
see if it says their local machine name or a dc. Be sure that they are
resolving dns properly and can ping the dns domain name and dns dc name and
get replies.

David, thanks a lot for your help!
The computers are login in to the server if they use their
cached creds the do the login really fast......
they do ping fine.....
How can I tell if there's something else wrong, like DNS
or etc...

THANK YOU!!

Are you connecting to a network over a slow WAN link using
roaming user profiles? We have slow logins here at work
for some of our locations due to roaming user profiles and
our horribly slow frame relay(our login script takes a
while also).
