VERY SLOW Check Disk option??

Is it normal for the check disk scan on Win XP to take about 1 hour and a half to complete. Volume of C drive has 70% free space..Please help....
 
Yes...this is very common. Really depends on the size of your drive..Be patient...
 
This doesn't sound quite "normal" to me...
What speed CPU?
What size hard drive?
How long since lat defrag?

That doesn't sound too normal but it has alot to do with your computer hardware. I would be patient unless this is taking much longer than normal. Did it always take this long? Let us know
