Version of windows media services in Windows 2000 Advanced Server

Hi,

Which version comes installed out of the box? Trying to figure out why I
can't encode at more than a couple bit rates - encoding with media encoder
9.

Version 7.1 would be my guess. You can download version 9 from
windowsmedia.com.

I believe that it is 6.4 out of the box because that's all I have.

If you're using Windows 2000, you can only be using Windows Media Server 4.
