Version ao Messenger

I have two version of Messenger (Windows Messenger Vers.
4.... and MSN Messenger vers 6.....) the second is the
last version that Microsoft have required installation for
to replace the previous one.
hour as I can disinstallare the first active version since
the search of logon to Messenger?

Dear Gio,
You should've described it better, but I guess you want to get rid of the
Windows messenger that may conflict with the msn(r) messenger 6.0.

Problem:
There is no direct way for uninstalling windows messenger that I can
recommend it to you.(since there were no uninstaller included for that in
"Control panel \ Add or Remove programs \ Add/Remove Windows Component\" )

NEED!:
Some programs may need your "windows messenger" to do some jobs! I've had a
similar problem, but here is a simple way.... just disable automatically
starting windows messenger(r):

Alternates:
There are other ways( such as changing in registry or .... . I think
Microsoft(r) has included an uninstaller in the recent versions of windows
for uninstalling some parts of windows.... Anybody suggest...??!! )

--------DO this:
in the windows messenger(r),just Go to:
1-Tools>Options>preferences
2- UNCHECK two first boxes in the general section (note : the first one
disables automatically start upon windows startup)
