VB.NET and Crystal Reports

I have a VB.NET application using SQL server with 300 users connecting via
remote desktop to the application in Win2003. From what I read in the
licensing agreement, we max out at 50 users in the Crystal Reports that
comes with .NET.

Is there a workaround by going to CR 8.5 or is there another good reporting
system for .NET?

On further reading . . . . seems the licensing is only limited to 50 users
for automatic distribution. So am I correct in assuming that a VB.NET
application to 300 users who print their own reports from their remote
desktops is within the licensing agreement?

Also, how stable are the CR designed reports with large quantities of users
accessing the system? Should I expect memory or any other problems or is
the CR system stable?

<<Report Distribution System means any process or system that is used to
automatically deliver, share or distribute Report(s) without providing any
access to the Server Software: (a) to greater than fifty (50) end users
directly, or (b) to a location that is accessible to greater than fifty (50)
end users. A Report Distribution System shall not include: (a) distribution
of Reports in hard copy form; (b) manual or ad hoc distribution; or (c)
distribution of Client Applications.
