Hi all, I am hoping someone can help me.

I have been having so many problems with my desk top I have had to keep
re-installing all programmes including XP that I have bought a new desktop
and laptop but the problem I have got now I get a error message telling me I
have exceeded the amount of times I can validate XP.

So I have installed XP and cannot use either computer so can anyone help
please.

Thanks in advance

Ken

Hi,

Is this a regular retail WinXP CD? If so, you can only keep it running on a
single system. You need an additional license for each machine. If you've
removed it from the original machine, then you should be able to call and
activate it on one of the new systems.

If it was preinstalled with the original system, or you purchased an OEM
full version, then you will not be able to install and activate it on the
new systems. You will need new licenses for each.
