If you were to rank the best free AV's 1-3, what would it be?

I love NOD 32 but they have a limited trial period then it's an
expensive purchase.

Free is what I'd prefer (duh) but not if free=less than "full
protection" and/or less then very frequent, very vigilent updated DAT
files.

I have used AVG for almost 5 years without problems.
Now it is at AVG Free V7.0.

Update the definition files at least weekly.
